Foundation Year

Thursday 19th
12:00-1:00 - Free lunch (details to be confirmed)
1:00-3:00 - UniSmart university induction (Peel Hall)
3:00-4:30 - Programme leader welcome, university support (Newton Building room 238/9 - on the top floor)

First Year

Monday 16th
10:30-12:00 - School check-in (Newton Building room 238/9 - on the top floor)
12:00-2:00 - School welcome (Newton Building room B2 - in the basement)
Tuesday 17th
12:30-1:00 - University support details (Chapman Lecture Theatre 1)
1:00-2:00 - Industry talk "What do you REALLY know about the IT industry?" (Chapman Lecture Theatre 1)
2:30-4:00 - The maths diagnostic test has been deferred until later in the semester
Thursday 19th
12:00-1:00 - Free lunch (details to be confirmed)
1:00-3:00 - UniSmart university induction (Peel Hall)
Friday 20th
9:30-1:00 - Course orientation, and introduction to Higher Education (Newton Building rooms 234/5/6/7 - on the top floor)

Second Year

Wednesday 18th

11:00-4:00 - Refresher: Web and programming (Newton 245/242/140)
Thursday 19th
10:00-4:00 - Refresher: crypto-challenges, linux and binary, OO recap with genetic algorithms (Newton 245/242/140)

Final Year

2:00-4:30 - Programme leader talk, options, industry talk, final year project kickoff (Newton B2)
